Whether you are joining us from another school in Horry County, South Carolina, or from another state, we want to help you transition as smoothly as possible into WPMS. Below you will find information about our procedures for enrolling new students and the documents necessary to enroll your child in a Horry County School.
You will be asked to upload the following documents:
- Proof of residency
- Student’s birth certificate
- Student’s immunization records
Once you have completed the pre-registration above, you will receive a Snapcode from your school and be directed to complete the registration process.
Parents who are new to the area and are unsure which school their child will attend may utilize the HCS School Locator, which allows the user to enter an address to identify the schools assigned to their residence. Parents can also view maps of the District’s nine attendance areas by accessing Attendance Zone Maps.
