Whittemore Schools Legacy Room

The Whittemore Park Middle Legacy Room
Horry County Schools opened a replacement building for Whittemore Park Middle School in August 2024. This school has a history dating back roughly 150 years and holds a special place in the hearts of its alumni, former faculty, and community. To honor that history and strengthen the bond with the community, we created a Legacy Room in the new building.

Whittemore High Yearbooks
While the Legacy Room was under construction, yearbooks spanning the years 1953 to 1970 were collected. The pages were carefully scanned, digitized, and uploaded to the internet. The scanned yearbooks are available to browse on digital tablets in the Legacy Room and can also be accessed by clicking on the image below.
